5.4 More About Job Banks
There are literally thousands of job banks on the Net
based in North America. Finding job banks that suit your needs can be an
overwhelming task.
- Start by finding job banks that offer job
postings in the city or region where you want to work.
- Remember, most job banks
focus on large urban markets.
- If you want to work in a small rural
community, you usually won't find a job through the Net.
- Stick to the
larger sites that allow you to search by region and industry.
- Don't post your resumé randomly in these job banks.
Be sure to target your job search to specific jobs and employers.
